Demand for Mr. Adams' components increased and then surpassed his production abilities. Finally, in 1987, Mr. Adams started founded Adams Golf to allow for stricter control over the club making process and to cut out the middlemen. The result was Tight Lies and it became a genuine phenomenon in the golfing world. They called it Tight Lies for a reason - anything you could get your ball into, Tight Lies could get you back out of. Today's "#1 Hybrid In Golf" is Adams Idea, a favorite on the Tour as well as the course around the corner.
